ABOUT BELL ENTERPRISES

Bell Enterprises began in 1971 as an import/ export firm based on the island of Majorca Spain, importing tribal handicrafts from remote parts of the world for sale to collectors and retailers in France, Spain, England, and the Netherlands. In 1973 our base of operations was moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands and the development of rural farm houses in Southwest France was begun.

The owner and founder, Kenneth J. Bell, returned to the New Orleans area where he has attended Tulane University. In 1978 after ten years of residence overseas he began Kenneth J. Bell Enterprises as a one man operation using some of the skills acquired from his renovations in France to repair and renovate buildings in the New Orleans Vieux Carre or old square, better known as The French Quarter.

Mr. Bell's career as a hands-on renovator, performing work in numerous trades personally, began as he assembled a network of old world craftsmen whose skills in the vanishing trades of carpentry, masonry, stucco, genuine plaster, stone and tile setting have set Bell Enterprises apart from a run-of-the-mill construction company.
